Next listed as New Castle (2nd Ferry Group), Wilmington, Deleware (from 1/7/43), and Hunter Field, Savannah, Georgia (from 12/7/43). Then listed as New Castle (2nd Ferry Group), Wilmington, Deleware (from 2/8/43). Probably went to Presque Isle, Maine, from where it was flown to the UK via the Northern Ferry Route, although this is not listed on the record card. Next listed as UGLY A (Europe - 8th AF) from 24/8/43, and SOXO R (Europe - 8th AF) from 21/9/43. Entered combat with the 391st BG / 573rd BS. The aircraft did not have a nose name, but did have artwork of a Vaga girl painted on the nose. Damaged cat.3 (Cat.B) in a taxiing accident at RAF Tangmere on 8/8/44 flown by Lt. Herman L Crim (391st BG / 573rd BS). The aircraft was repaired. The final entry on the aircraft record card lists, CON SAL NBD SOXO R on 18/6/45. Note, there is no mention on the aircraft record card that this aircraft was converted to a B-26B-35, and just refers to a B-26B model.
