| Transferred from the 387th BG on 1/4/44 as "El Burro". Re-named "Betty J". Survived the war having flown 78 combat missions. The final entry on the aircraft record card lists, CON SAL FEA GLUE R on 15/10/45. Note, there is no mention on the aircraft record card that this aircraft was converted to a B-26B-30, and just refers to a B-26B model. According to one source, this aircraft never served with the 387th BG, and was assigned the the 1st Pathfinder SQN in February 1944, and flew its first combat mission on 1/3/44. |
