Next went to Dow Field, Bangor, Maine (from 24/7/44), from where the aircraft was flown overseas to the UK via the Northern Ferry Route, departing the USA on 1/8/44. The aircraft record card then lists, GLUE 9AF A (Europe - 9th AF) from 1/8/44, and GLUE 9AF G (Europe - 9th AF) from 13/8/44. Entered combat with the 1st Pathfinder SQN on 1/1/45. The aircraft flew 39 combat missions and survived the war. The final entries on the aircraft record card list, GLUE CON SAL FEA on 28/3/46, and, "Condemned overseas, dated 10/5/46".
