Target: Military Hqs at St. Martin du Besaces
Target: German Division Headquarters at St. Martin du Besaces, France. Thirty-six aircraft of the Group engaged in this mission, dropping ninety-six 500-pound and three hundred twenty-seven 250- pound General Purpose bombs. Excellent results were reported for one flight, good for two, fair for two, with gross error for the sixth. Bombing was from 8000 to 9000 feet and five planes were flak battle-damaged. One crew member was wounded.
