Built at the Glenn L Martin factory at Baltimore, Maryland as a B-26G-15-MA. Accepted by the Army Air Force on 3/11/44. Then flown by Baltimore, Maryland (ATC) from 8/11/44, to the 3rd AF staging area at Hunter Field, Savannah, Georgia (from 8/11/44). Next went to Morrison Field, West Palm Beach, Florida (1103 BAS) from 16/11/44, from where the aircraft was flown overseas via the Southern Ferry Route, departing the USA on 20/11/44. The aircraft record card then lists, GLUE 9AF A (Europe - 9th AF) on 20/11/44, and GLUE 9AF R (Europe - 9th AF) on 24/12/44. Entered combat with the 391st BG / 574th BS on 10/2/45. Crashed on take off from A-73 Roye / Amy, France for the 3/3/45 mission to Wiesbaden, Germany. The aircraft flown by 2nd Lt. Guy F Henage blew out a tyre on the take-off run and crashed into another B-26, serial 44-67890 (391st BG / 574th BS flown by Jack Mozian), both aircraft were wrecked. The final entry on the aircraft record card lists, GLUE 9AF CON SAL NBD on 3/3/45.
