Then listed as New Castle (2nd Ferry Group), Wilmington, Deleware (from 29/5/43), and Omaha, Nebraska (from 15/6/43). Next flown by Memphis, Tennessee (ATC Ferry) from 25/6/43, to Hunter Field, Savannah, Georgia (from 27/6/43). Then flown to Presque Isle, Maine (from 17/7/43), from where it was flown to the UK via the Northern Ferry Route. Next listed as UGLY A (Europe - 8th AF) from 19/7/43, and UGLY R (Europe - 8th AF) from 26/7/43. Crash landed after hydraulics had been shot out on 25/5/44 with two wounded crew on board. Salvaged on 13/6/44. The final entry on the aircraft record card lists, CON AFMSC M GLUE on 14/6/44. Note, there is no mention on the aircraft record card that this aircraft was converted to a B-26B-30, and just refers to a B-26B-1 model. Pilot F/O Clarence W Hollinger.
