Damaged cat.3 after it was involved in a mid air collision (with what, possibly birds?) over the Osprey Bombing Range, near Osprey, Florida on 13/5/43. The pilot was Lt. Junior W Olfson (391st BG / 575th BS in training). The aircraft was repaired, then transferred to Scott Field, Illinois (3505 BAS), no date given, where the aircraft was redesignated as a TB-26B. Next transferred to Chanute Field, Illinois (3502 BAS), where the aircraft was assigned to the resident tow target unit.
