39 B-26 were dispatched to attack a Marshaling Yard at St. Ghislain, Belgium. Each aircraft was loaded with 4x1000LB General Purpose bombs with RAF 11 Group providing fighter escort and support. Heavy, Moderate density, Inaccurate FLAK was observed at a distance, but not experienced, at Chievres, and Dunkerque. Due to 10/10 cloud cover over the primary target, a Radar station at La Panne on the coast was bombed by the 1st box.
64 bombs were dropped on the target of opportunity. Results were judged as poor.
