39 B-26 were dispatched to attack Marshaling Yard at Namur, Belgium. Each aircraft was loaded with 14x250LB General Purpose bombs with P-47s of Ninth Fighter Command providing fighter escort. Moderate, Accurate FLAK was experienced at Brussels and Ostend. Lt. Hanlon had to land at another airfield, and so did Capt. Schleicher who crashed into road building equipment whilst attempting to land on one engine.
Results were judged as 1st box, good; 2nd box, unobserved. Bombed through holes in clouds. 2 B-26 landed elsewhere.
