A railway embankment and viaduct at Laval, France, was the group's target on the evening of July 24. Thirty-six planes were dispatched at 1812 hours and dropped one hundred forty-three 1000-pound bombs on the target area, with strike photo interpretation ratings from "Excellent" to "Gross" credited to them.
