Purpose/Notes: | bombing will be done by flights. Intelligence Annex: Destruction of these dumps will further hamper movement of enemy mechanized forces. With loss of Ploesti oil fields and destruction of synthetic production centers, any further loss of fuel by enemy will drasically affect his war effort. As it is all fuel formerly used by air forces is being used now by panzers and mechanized forces of emeny so that successful bombing of these targets will materially aid our own ground forces. Experience indicates that no flak will be encountered. |
